100% Natural
WE HAVE ALWAYS MADE THE FRESHNESS AND GENUINENESS OF OUR PRODUCTS A DISTINCTIVE ELEMENT OF OUR COMPANY.
First of all, the Favella farm is located in the Plain of Sibari in Calabria, an ideal habitat for the cultivation of citrus groves, orchards, and olive groves whose organoleptic properties are recognized worldwide. Then, we cultivate all the aromatic herbs and ingredients for our finished products in our greenhouses powered by clean energy and in our 240 hectares of land. We do not use GMOs.
We process the products just harvested, at the latest within a few hours of harvesting, to keep the organoleptic properties that the wonderful Calabrian land gives us as intact as possible, in addition to its scents and aromas, which you will find again when you open our jars. We do not add preservatives, colorants, or flavor enhancers.
Finally, we maintain the Calabrian tradition unaltered, processing our products almost as our grandmothers used to, doing almost everything by hand, thanks to our professionalism and experience: from cleaning the artichokes to drying the sun-dried tomatoes, to producing our sauces and the cold candying process of our clementines.
For these unique characteristics, we are the only Italian company to have the complete supply chain for all its products: from cultivation in clean energy greenhouses and harvesting wild products to transforming them into high-quality food specialties.
We work the land, but we respect it. We want to give back to the land some of the well-being it has given us by cultivating healthy products for those who eat them and that do not harm the environment that generates them. We host the third largest photovoltaic greenhouse system in the world, with 15 MW of photovoltaic greenhouses, 700 KW on the roofs of barns and offices, as well as 1 MW of biogas that produces methane through the fermentation of manure and other crop residues, for a total of 32 million kW per year: all our products are CO2 Free (no carbon dioxide is emitted during production), thus saving the environment over 14 million kg of carbon dioxide per year.
