Our pineapple and goji jam it's a perfect mix between health and sweetness. Why then use it only in a simple way, for example during breakfast? We'll give you another idea! Why don't you try using it as a jam for a tart?
The unique flavor of goji, combined with the sweetness of pineapple, will make your tart a real treat that will be hard to resist. But let's start with the ingredients.
Ingredients (26 cm mould):
- 2 eggs
- 300 g of 00 flour
- 100 g of butter
- lemon zest
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- 400 gr of Pineapple and Goji Jam Favella
Procedure:
- The first thing to do is obviously the shortcrust pastry. Put the flour on a surface, create the classic fountain and pour the sugar in the center. Also add the cold butter cut into small pieces, the eggs, the lemon zest and a pinch of bicarbonate.
- Now start working the ingredients quickly and with your fingertips. If you work the pastry too much it won't come out!
- Once you have obtained a nice smooth dough, wrap it in cling film and leave it to rest in the fridge for at least thirty minutes.
- After this time, remove the shortcrust pastry from the refrigerator and start working it on a floured surface, always very quickly. Once it reaches 3-4 millimeters, roll out the shortcrust pastry in the mold using a rolling pin.
- Now cut off the excess edges, and start covering everything with the pineapple and goji jam.
- Roll out the remaining dough again and cut out the classic “strings” of dough that are always found in jam tarts. Place them on the jam and use a fork to make them stick well to the edge of the tart.
- Now bake the jam tart in a static oven at 180° for 40 minutes.
- When the shortcrust pastry is golden brown, your tart is ready! Enjoy your meal!
