Moringa Oleifera lends itself to many different preparations, from sweet to savory. If we then talk about the powder that is obtained from it, the game becomes even simpler. Just add a few grams in normal preparations to have even more flavor and bring a series of benefits to our body.
That's why today we want to recommend a traditional recipe, with a touch of originality. We're talking about bread with Moringa Oleifera. Let's get started!
Ingredients
- 500 g of 00 flour
- 15 g of fresh yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 10 g of salt
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 10/15 gr of Moringa powder
- Water to taste
Procedure
- First, dissolve the brewer's yeast and sugar in 1/2 glass of warm water. This process will allow the yeast to activate.
- Now sift the flour into a bowl or onto a pastry board, add the moringa powder and the water with the yeast.
- Mix the mixture and start adding water (in which you will have added salt and oil), kneading with your hands for at least 15 minutes.
- When the dough has become firm and homogeneous, form a ball and place it in a floured bowl. Cover everything with a damp cloth and let it rise in the oven with the light on for at least 2 hours, until it has doubled in volume.
- Once the dough has risen properly, work it for a few more minutes and give it the shape you prefer. Make a few cuts on the surface and let it rise for another hour, always inside the oven turned off, covered with a cloth.
- Now remove the pan and turn on the oven, static, at 200°C, and leave to cook for 50 minutes, until a golden crust forms.
- Now take it out of the oven, let it cool, cut and… enjoy. Inside it will be a light green color, given by the moringa powder.
