Cream of sun-dried tomatoes, olives and grilled peppers. The “Stuzzico” family brings the flavors of Calabria to the table thanks to an intriguing and tasty mix of chopped vegetables: in this version, juicy San Marzano tomatoes meet exquisite olives and peppers, the fresh taste of mint and the strong character of chili pepper.

Sibarites' tease: from the field to the jar.

Let's start with the tomatoes. These are washed, deseeded and cut lengthwise and then placed on typical red bricks outdoors for 24 hours. The next day the curled tomatoes are reopened and left under the sun for another 36 hours. Once completely dry, they are first washed in warm water to soften them and then immersed for a few minutes in a hot solution (vinegar, salt and water) where they are then drained, seasoned and chopped.

The green olives (in brine and already pitted) are drained and chopped.

Finally the peppers are washed, cut and left to rest in a cold solution for a few hours. Then they are drained, grilled and chopped.

Now all the ingredients are put together with the addition of extra virgin olive oil and aromas, we heat them to facilitate their union and proceed with the packaging.

Abbinamento consigliato

Ideal to pair with mature and semi-mature cheeses. Excellent to spread on hot croutons or bread and as a base for sandwiches. Perfect to accompany grilled and braised meats. Diluted with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil it becomes a tasty sauce to sauté short pasta in the pan.
