Our cream is worked very carefully to obtain a velvety consistency and an intense flavor, a real delicacy. It can be eaten raw, grilled or breaded and fried. Here, in its creamy, sweet and delicate version.

Grown in the company's photovoltaic greenhouses, the cardoncello mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii) is typical of the Pollino area, Basilicata and Puglia and is highly versatile thanks to its particular consistency and adaptability to any type of cooking.

Cardoncello Cream: from the field to the jar

The cardoncelli mushrooms we use for our preparations are grown directly on the farm and picked by hand. Once in the laboratory, they are cleaned and carefully cut always within 40 minutes of being picked. We then immerse them for a few minutes in a "hot solution" made up of vinegar, water and salt and then drain them and add them to extra virgin olive oil and spices. We homogenize everything and heat the cream to perfectly blend all the ingredients.


Abbinamento consigliato

Excellent to be enjoyed plain on bread and warm croutons or in combination with mature or semi-mature cheeses. It gives a more decisive flavour to sandwiches and is perfect with meats, especially boiled meats and roast beef, white fish and shellfish. Delicious as a base for pasta sauces.
