Goji Berries and Moringa
Nik LineOur lands
The magical lands of the Sibari Plain , in Calabria, are home to the beating heart of our nutraceutical mission. Here, among the rolling hills and the Mediterranean climate, we grow with love and dedication the extraordinary plants that form the basis of our Nik line: Goji Berries and Moringa Oleifera . The unique combination of fertile soil and favorable climate creates the ideal environment for the growth of these superfoods, guaranteeing maximum purity and quality.
Goji Berries
Goji Berries, native to the Himalayan and Chinese regions, have been used for centuries in traditional medicine for their beneficial properties. Also known as "the fruit of longevity", they are a treasure of nature that comes from Lycium barbarum plants. Favella is the first agricultural reality in Europe to cultivate nutraceutical goji .
Our Goji
In addition to the normal benefits of Goji Berries , studies conducted by the University of Perugia have shown that our Berries contain more than double the concentration of carotenoids , in particular zeaxanthin dipalmitate, a powerful antioxidant that plays a significant role in cellular protection and anti-tumor activity.
Moringa Oleifera
Known in Italy and Europe as the “radish tree”, it grows throughout the tropical and equatorial zone. Its leaves are rich in proteins , vitamins (such as vitamin A and vitamin B6), antioxidants (including vitamin C and beta-carotene) and minerals such as iron and magnesium. These nutrients give Moringa extraordinary properties and health benefits , including immune support, weight management and skin health .
