Meat pizzaiola is a more intensely flavored alternative to the classic slice of meat. There are many different variations but our recipe for meat pizzaiola is definitely unique: it includes tomato sauce, goji and basil! Can't wait to get started? Here's the recipe!

Ingredients for 4 people

Preparation

  1. The first thing to do to prepare the meat pizzaiola is to take the slices of beef and beat them with a meat tenderizer to make them thinner;
  2. Now put some oil in a large enough pan and start heating the tomato, goji and basil sauce (add a little water if you want it less thick), adding salt and pepper;
  3. When the sauce is very hot, place the slices of beef on top and cover them with the sauce to get a nice even cooking. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5-6 minutes, then turn them over and cook them for the same amount of time, placing slices of buffalo mozzarella on top;
  4. Once the buffalo mozzarella has melted, turn off the heat and serve with a drizzle of quality extra virgin olive oil! Enjoy!
