A tomato sauce with a rich and unique flavor, crafted from carefully selected high-quality raw ingredients and a time-honored tradition. The tomatoes are sourced from certified Italian producers, the Moringa Oleifera is 100% Italian and cultivated on our farm, as are all the aromatic herbs used in the recipe. The extra virgin olive oil comes from the “Dolce di Rossano” variety of olives, typical of the fertile Sibari plain.

This recipe has been passed down through generations of women in our family, still prepared using a copper pot: cooked in an open basin for a short time to achieve the flavor of a “freshly made sauce.” The result is all the freshness and taste of the finest natural tomatoes. The omission of onions in the soffritto makes this sauce particularly delicate and highlights the slightly spicy flavor of the Moringa Oleifera leaves.

The product showcases the incredible nutritional properties of Moringa, packed with complete proteins, essential minerals, and high concentrations of vitamins A and C, along with potent antioxidants. This makes the sauce not only delicious but also highly beneficial for the body.

From the Field to the Jar

The preparation of our Tomato and Moringa Oleifera Sauce adheres to traditional, simple, and quick methods to preserve the authentic taste of the ingredients. The tomatoes are cooked in an open basin for a very short time, and only at the end are the hand-picked Moringa leaves added. This ensures they retain their vibrant green color and their incredible properties. We then enhance the recipe with herbs grown on our farm and the delicate extra virgin olive oil “Dolce di Rossano,” a variety typical of Calabria.

Moringa is cultivated in our fields in the beautiful Sibari plain in Calabria, and we are proud to be among the first in Europe to introduce this extraordinary plant to Italy.
