Tomato and Moringa Sauce: health and taste. Our sauce recipe has been passed down by word of mouth for generations. But why not give it a whole new flavor? That's why we decided to enrich it with Moringa grown on our land. It contains more protein than eggs and milk, more vitamin A than carrots, more vitamin C than oranges and more potassium than bananas.

A tomato sauce with a full-bodied and unique taste , thanks to the selection of fine raw materials and tradition. The tomatoes come from certified Italian producers, the Moringa oleifera is 100% Italian and grown on our farm , as are all the aromatic herbs used in the preparation, the extra virgin olive oil is produced with a variety of olives typical of the Sibari plain, the “Dolce di Rossano”.

The recipe has been passed down through generations of women in the family and the copper pot is still used: cooking in an open basin and for a short time to give the flavour of a “freshly made sauce”. The result is all the fresh flavour of the best natural tomatoes . The lack of onion in the soffritto makes this sauce very delicate and enhances the slightly spicy flavour of the Moringa oleifera leaves.

The product enhances the The incredible nutritional properties of Moringa, with its full range of proteins, many mineral salts and high concentrations of vitamins A and C and antioxidants, make this sauce tasty and rich in benefits for the body .

From the Field to the Jar

The preparation of our Tomato and Moringa Oleifera Sauce follows traditional, simple and quick procedures and processes to retain the authentic taste of the ingredients. The tomatoes are cooked in an open bowl for a very short time and only towards the end we add the hand-picked Moringa leaves . In this way they preserve the bright green color and their incredible properties. We then enrich everything with the herbs grown on our farm and the delicate extra virgin olive oil "Dolce di Rossano", a typical oil of the Calabrian land.

Moringa is grown in our fields in the splendid Sibari plain in Calabria and we were among the first in Europe to bring this precious plant to Italy !
